Next step: return to checkout review Use this route to understand credit source, applied balance, remaining amount, and refund routing before returning to the simulated checkout boundary.
Tender preview Balance, gift credit, trade credit, remaining amount, limits, and refund routing are shown as review-only values. Preview only.
No wallet connection The page does not ask for seed phrases, wallet keys, card numbers, bank data, or tax IDs. No credentials.
No checkout transfer Wallet preview data cannot create an order, capture funds, trigger payout movement, or expose private payment data. Data stays advisory.
Split limit Account standing, category risk, open reports, and support holds explain blocked states. Reason visible.
Refund trail Refund examples show original tender order, credit routing, and statement impact. Traceable records.

Balance Types

  • Account balance can represent refund credit, gift balance, trade adjustment, seller service credit, or support-issued credit.
  • Each balance line needs a source, reason, expiration, allowed category, allowed seller, and customer-visible history.
  • Private payment details are not shown or collected on this demo route.

Tender Order

  • Cart review should apply eligible account balance first, then show the remaining amount due before the payment boundary.
  • Split payment review should show item total, shipping line, hub service line, taxes when enabled, credits, and remaining balance.
  • Declined or unavailable tender states need clear fallback choices instead of vague checkout failure copy.

Split Limits

  • Limits can be set by account standing, order value, category risk, seller status, open reports, identity review, and support ownership.
  • High-value auctions can require authorization review before account balance and another tender are combined.
  • Limits should be visible to support and finance teams before a customer is asked to retry.

Refund Routing

  • Refunds should return to the original tender order when possible, with credits and external tenders separated in the order timeline.
  • Partial refunds need item, shipping, hub service, insurance, tax, and seller-release impact broken out clearly.
  • Support outcomes should explain whether the buyer receives account credit, original-tender refund, seller adjustment, or no refund.

Fraud and Holds

  • Suspicious balance use, rapid account changes, repeated refunds, mismatched pickup proof, or chargeback history can pause split payment use.
  • Every hold needs a customer-safe reason, owner, evidence source, next action, and review deadline.
  • Risk review should not expose private signals to buyers or sellers.

Gift and Trade Credit

  • Gift and trade credit should show allowed purchase types, expiration, transfer rules, and whether it can pay shipping or hub services.
  • Trade credit from item-for-item offers needs the source offer, accepted difference, handoff completion, and support window.
  • Seller service credits should remain separate from buyer stored value.

Statement Trail

  • Wallet activity should show created, applied, reversed, refunded, expired, held, and released states.
  • Finance review needs order id, buyer id, source, amount, reason, owner, and reconciliation status.
  • Data export and privacy requests should include balance history without exposing private payment credentials.

Owner Approval

  • Launch approval should cover stored-value policy, split-tender order, refund routing, expiration, support overrides, and fraud holds.
  • Finance, support, trust, privacy, and customer experience owners each need sign-off before wallet services go live.
  • Rollback should disable new wallet application without hiding previous order and refund history.

The demo shows balance types, tender order, split limits, refund routing, gift and trade credit, fraud holds, and statement trail without processing real payments.

Future platform state

Launch-ready wallet services need financial controls.
