Receipts and invoices
Show how buyers, sellers, support teams, and marketplace owners could review order paperwork without exposing payment credentials or private tax details.
Receipts are preview-only records and do not display wallet keys, bank details, payout credentials, tax IDs, or address records.
Buyer Receipt
- Receipt view should show item title, seller, order number, purchase date, total, credits used, handoff choice, and support window.
- Payment credentials should stay with approved providers; the marketplace can show only safe payment status and last-action labels.
- Receipts should link back to order status, pickup release, shipment tracking, report case, return eligibility, and review eligibility.
Seller Statement
- Seller statement lines need item price, seller fees, hub services, shipping deductions, refunds, credits, reserves, and release status.
- Held funds should show reason, related report, return window, proof gap, support owner, and expected review date.
- Seller exports should separate order records, statement lines, tax records, and support evidence with clear permission rules.
Tax Lines
- Order paperwork should separate item subtotal, shipping, hub service, discount, stored credit, tax estimate, duties, and refund impact.
- Exemption status, jurisdiction, seller tax status, and retained record notes should stay visible for finance review.
- Tax language should stay informational in the demo and avoid asking visitors to enter tax IDs or private documents.
Refund Records
- Refund records should show original total, refund reason, evidence status, seller response, credit routing, and final outcome.
- Partial refunds, canceled pickup, damaged shipment, missing item, and not-as-described cases need separate receipt adjustments.
- Refund records should update buyer receipt, seller statement, support timeline, and export history together.
Credits and Wallet
- Credit use should identify refund credit, gift balance, trade adjustment, seller service credit, or support-issued credit.
- Split tender should show applied balance, remaining amount due, decline or cancel state, and refund routing expectations.
- Credits should never obscure buyer protection, seller statement impact, or support ownership.
Export Package
- Export packages need buyer receipt records, seller statements, tax summaries, support outcomes, refund adjustments, and audit history.
- Exports should show owner approval, requested date, file scope, redaction state, retention window, and delivery status.
- Private payment credentials, sensitive tax identifiers, and support-only notes should stay out of public receipt routes.
Customer Notices
- Receipt notices should cover order confirmation, pickup readiness, shipment purchase, refund outcome, return deadline, and case closure.
- Quiet hours, language preference, fallback delivery, and support contact should match account notification choices.
- Failure states should give a useful next step instead of a blank receipt or unsupported payment message.
Owner Approval
- Owners should approve receipt fields, seller statement lines, tax display, export scope, refund adjustment rules, and customer notices.
- Launch review should confirm that checkout, order status, tax records, data export, support cases, and finance views all use the same order facts.
- Rollback should pause new paperwork changes while preserving buyer receipts, seller statements, and support evidence.
