Hub intake

Counter intake camera kit

Counter intake is the first visible proof checkpoint. Accepted category, condition photos, accessory state, and pickup readiness stay tied to the item, and the same proof marker carries forward into pickup, checkout, and issue review.

Hub receipt snapshot One item path stays visible: seller intake, proof packet, buyer handoff, and issue window. The flow keeps the proof marker attached and avoids implying live appointment booking or live custody.
Seller intake Category, restricted-item result, serial area, accessories, and visible wear are checked together before pickup can be offered. Electronics example.
Proof packet Front, back, ports, accessories, packaging, and defect photos can request a retake before the buyer handoff checkpoint unlocks. Retake still open.
Buyer handoff Battery, lens cap, mount, cable, case, and fragile-pack notes stay visible in buyer review and must align with the current proof packet state. Shipment-ready cue.
Issue window Pickup rules, confirmation notes, and report evidence connect back to intake photos and intake notes for traceable issue handling. Issue-ready trail.

Intake is the first proof moment

This intake screen shows how staff notes, photos, packing state, and release rules connect to the buyer and seller views.

Counter Checklist

  • Confirm item title, category, seller, serial area, included accessories, and visible wear.
  • Capture front, back, ports, accessories, packaging, and defect photos.
  • Apply and scan a tamper-evident item label; any mismatch, break, or replacement opens an exception event.
  • Record accepted-category status and restricted-item review result before buyer handoff.

Packing Notes

  • Battery included and photographed.
  • Lens cap, mount, cable, and case counted.
  • Fragile pack requested before shipment.

Release Rules

  • Pickup window must be selected during order review.
  • Pickup closes only after an intact-label scan, order and location match, staff confirmation, and one-time buyer challenge.
  • Item report uses intake photos, seller thread, and pickup confirmation context.

Current demo state

Hub workflows are shown with fictional local records.

The demo shows service areas, intake rules, item checks, pickup windows, release proof, fees, turnaround, and local event inventory.

Future platform state

Launch-ready hubs need staffing and custody controls.

Launch needs real locations, staff roles, chain-of-custody records, storage policy, appointment capacity, liability terms, and support ownership.
